The Investment Banking and Capital Markets Association (IBCM) at the University of Toronto is an undergraduate student organization dedicated to serving students interested in pursuing a career in corporate finance, including equity and debt underwriting, financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, trading and advisory services.

We are focused on providing an environment where students with these interests can gain access to valuable knowledge, interact with industry professionals and meet other students of similar interests. The association achieves this objective through a variety of group discussions, seminars, workshops, social events, and publications.

IBCM also provides students with valuable insights into their future careers, and recognizes that finance and economics education extends beyond the classroom. The club seeks to bridge the gap from knowledge acquired at the University of Toronto to its practical applications in the field. We gear our associates to learn about the multitude of opportunities available in a career in finance and are continually expanding our activities to serve the university’s growing community of students interested in this field.
